KNUST 55TH CONGREGATION (VIRTUAL) TO BE HELD SOON



THE KWAME NKRUMAH UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, announces for the information of 2021 Graduands and the General Public that its 55th Congregation (Virtual) will be held on THURSDAY,  25th NOVEMBER and FRIDAY, 26th NOVEMBER, 2021.


GRADUANDS who completed their Programmes of Study in September, 2021 should pay GHC 280.00 in CASH at any of the following banks: ECOBANK, GCB, UBA, STANBIC BANK, CAL BANK, REPUBLIC BANK, ABSA BANK, CBG and STANDARD CHARTERED BANK as graduation fees 


The graduation fee covers Congregation Publications, Graduation Medals, Certificate Holders, University Souvenirs and Administrative Costs.


Graduands are required to provide the following information at the Bank:

Programme of Study

Examination Index Number

Student ID Number

Contact Address

Telephone/ Cell phone Number

Email Address

Procedure for Registration

Students who wish to be presented for the virtual ceremony will be required to upload a decent portrait picture (in formal wear) using the students’ portal (apps.knust.edu.gh/students). Deadline for picture upload is Monday, 15th November, 2021.


Collection of Certificates

Graduates are to collect their Certificates and Souvenir package from their respective Colleges (IDL and SGS included) between Tuesday, 30th November 2021 and Wednesday, 22nd December, 2021.


Those who are unable to collect their certificates and Souvenirs during this period should pick them up from the Examinations Office (Casely Hayford Building) from Monday, 10th January, 2022.


The University would mount photo booths from Tuesday, 30th November to Wednesday, 22nd December, 2021 for interested graduates to take their Graduation Photographs.

  UPDATES ON THE GHANA CARD The NIA has opened it's Registration exercise again at the NIA Headquarters at Shiashe in Accra along the 37- Madina road. This second wave of registration is a little different from the previous one which was absolutely free of charge for every citizen. IT IS NO LONGER FREE. There are now three Different Classifications: ●UPDATES  ●REPLACEMENT  ● FRESH REGISTRATION (Citizens & Foreigners).  For Updates, that is if the name on the your card is spelt wrongly, wrong date of birth, wrong height etc. You Will be charged GH c30 for an instant fresh card.  For Replacement; that is your Card is lost or  missing.
