Prempeh College receives Gh¢17,500 from the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation

OTUMFUO OSEI TUTU II FOUNDATION DONATES TO PREMPEH COLLEGE

On May 5, 2023, The Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation presented a cheque of seventeen thousand, five hundred Ghana Cedis (GHC 17, 500.00) to the Prempeh College Robotics Club.

Prempeh College is an all boys public secondary school located in Kumasi, the capital city of the Ashanti Region. The school was founded in 1949 and it's known for its excellent performance by all standards.

The donation was to cater for the feeding cost of the team comprising two teachers and seven students who are scheduled to travel to Lawrence Technology University, Michigan in the USA. The team is to represent the Robotic club in this year’s robotics competition at the international level to be held from the 11th to the 13th of May 2023.

The team paid a courtesy call to the Board Chairman of the Otumfuo Foundation, Nana Prof. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei Woahene II, ahead of their trip.

Nana Prof. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei Woahene II, who is a distinguished scientist and inventor, commended the college for its achievements in Robotics and urged the team to go for the ultimate in the upcoming Robotics competition in the United States.

Congratulations to PREMPEH COLLEGE on their qualification to represent Ghana on the global stage. Go and make Ghana proud.

UPDATES ON THE GHANA CARD The NIA has opened it's Registration exercise again at the NIA Headquarters at Shiashe in Accra along the 37- Madina road. This second wave of registration is a little different from the previous one which was absolutely free of charge for every citizen. IT IS NO LONGER FREE.
